After her confinement to a psychiatric hospital in Saint-Alban, she started creating art with watercolours, embroidery, and textiles. Sirvins would use found rags and coloured silks working without preparatory sketches, her most notable creation was also her final piece; a wedding dress for her imaginary wedding. The dress was made from hospital bedsheets, with a crochet technique. Sirvins stopped creating art in 1955 shortly before her death, after suffering from delirium and hallucinations. Sirvins doctor, Roger Gentis, helped preserve her artworks and they are exhibited in the collection of the Collection de l'art brut in Lausanne."@en ; dbo:wikiPageWikiLink dbr:Schizophrenia , dbr:Textile_art , dbr:Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole , , dbc:Textile_artists , dbc:People_with_schizophrenia , , dbr:Wedding_dress , dbc:Women_outsider_artists , , , , , , , dbc:Outsider_artists , dbr:Outsider_art , dbr:Crochet . @prefix dbp: . @prefix dbt: . dbr:Marguerite_Sirvins dbp:wikiPageUsesTemplate dbt:Birth_year , dbt:Reflist , dbt:Authority_control , dbt:Infobox_artist , dbt:Short_description , dbt:Death_date_and_age ; dbo:wikiPageRevisionID 1052555900 . @prefix xsd: . dbr:Marguerite_Sirvins dbo:wikiPageLength "3055"^^xsd:nonNegativeInteger ; dbo:wikiPageID 49097978 ; dbp:name "Marguerite Sirvins"@en ; owl:sameAs dbr:Marguerite_Sirvins , wikidata:Q23617611 , . @prefix dbpedia-fr: . dbr:Marguerite_Sirvins owl:sameAs dbpedia-fr:Marguerite_Sirvins . @prefix prov: . dbr:Marguerite_Sirvins prov:wasDerivedFrom ; foaf:isPrimaryTopicOf wikipedia-en:Marguerite_Sirvins . dbr:Marguerite_Sir dbo:wikiPageWikiLink dbr:Marguerite_Sirvins ; dbo:wikiPageRedirects dbr:Marguerite_Sirvins .
