The school mascot is the Verona Hillbilly, which reflected the remote, rural nature of the community. It was originally created in the 1950s and pictured with a bottle of moonshine and a shotgun. The mascot later was redesigned with a dog and a fishing pole due to concerns of school violence and under-age drinking. 686 55 9 Joshua Cogdill Avant Garde 55 686 Maroon and white 52770 151 Fairview Avenue Your Future Starts Here 07044 Hillbillies POINT(-74.247718811035 40.842636108398)
