- Die Premjer-Liha 2019/20 (ukrainisch Прем’єр-ліга; nach dem Sponsor auch Favbet League) war die 29. Spielzeit der höchsten ukrainischen Liga im Fußball und die zwölfte Auflage unter diesem Namen (vorher: Wyschtscha Liha, dt. Oberste Liga). Am Wettbewerb nahmen zwölf Mannschaften teil. - The 2019–20 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 29th top-level football club competitions since the fall of the Soviet Union and the 12th since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. The tournament has been set to start on 28 July 2019. The same day there took place the game for the Ukrainian Super Cup. The UPL General Assembly also adopted a post season play-off mini-tournament for the last fifth berth of Ukraine in the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League competition which would involve the best team(s) of the relegation group. The assembly also agreed to implement the Video assistant referee (VAR) position in 2020. With the ongoing competition, on 7 August 2019 the league adopted new name FavBet Liha after its main sponsor as well as its new logo. For promotional purpose, the Ukrainian Premier League introduced an own copy of virtual fantasy league on the Real Manager game platform. The defending champion was the 12-times winner Shakhtar Donetsk. On 20 June 2020, Shakhtar won the league again by beating Oleksandriya in the Round 27 home game gaining its 13th title record five rounds before the finish. Competition prolongation caused by the emergency break introduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic made the season the longest in history, lasting 1 year and 1 day in total. The season also has set a record as a highest-scoring season in the history of the competition, with an average of 2.78 goals scored per game. (en)
- La temporada 2019-20 fue la 29.ª edición de la Liga Premier de Ucrania, la máxima categoría del fútbol profesional en Ucrania desde su creación en 1992 tras la caída de la Unión Soviética. La temporada comenzó el 28 de julio de 2019 y tuvo un receso de invierno desde el 15 de diciembre de 2019 hasta el 22 de febrero de 2020. La temporada finalizó el 29 de julio de 2020. - La saison 2019-2020 de Premier-Liha est la vingt-neuvième édition de la première division ukrainienne. Elle prend place du 28 juillet 2019 au 17 juillet 2020, avec une trêve hivernale allant du 7 décembre 2019 au 22 février 2020. La pandémie de Covid-19 interrompt la saison à partir du 18 mars 2020 ; le championnat ne reprend que le 30 mai 2020. Les douze équipes participantes sont dans un premier temps regroupées au sein d'une poule unique où elles s'affrontent à deux reprises, à domicile et à l'extérieur, avant d'être divisées en deux groupes contenant les six premiers et les six derniers. En fin de saison, le dernier au classement est relégué tandis que les trois premières équipes de la deuxième division sont promues dans l'élite afin de passer à un format à quatorze équipes à partir de la saison 2020-2021. Cinq billets sont décernés pour les compétitions européennes que sont la Ligue des champions 2020-2021 et la Ligue Europa 2020-2021 : les deux premiers du classement final se qualifient pour la Ligue des champions, alors que le vainqueur de la Coupe d'Ukraine ainsi que le troisième du classement prennent part à la Ligue Europa. Si le vainqueur de la Coupe est déjà qualifié pour une compétition européenne d'une autre manière, sa place qualificative est réattribuée au championnat, la quatrième position devenant ainsi qualificative pour la Ligue Europa. La dernière place pour la compétition est attribuée par le biais d'un barrage entre les deux ou trois dernières équipes non-qualifiées du groupe championnat et la première ou les deux premières équipes du groupe relégation.
