- Belinda Caroline Stronach PC (Born May 2, 1966) is a Canadian businesswoman, philanthropist and a former Member of Parliament (MP) in the House of Commons of Canada from 2004 to 2008. Originally elected as a Conservative, she later crossed the floor to join the Liberals. From May 17, 2005 to February 6, 2006, Stronach was the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and Minister responsible for Democratic Renewal in the government of Paul Martin. After leaving politics, she served as the executive vice-chairman of Magna International, Canada's largest automotive parts manufacturer until December 31, 2010. Stronach is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of The Stronach Group and the founder and chair of The Belinda Stronach Foundation, a Canadian charitable organization. She also co-founded Acasta Enterprises and served as its director until 2017 when she resigned from the board. In the early 2000s, Stronach was highlighted by the World Economic Forum and media outlets, National Post and Fortune Magazine, as a promising future leader. (en)

- Belinda Stronach (née le 2 mai 1966 à Newmarket, Ontario) est une femme d'affaires et une femme politique canadienne. Elle fut PDG de la compagnie Magna International. Elle a également été députée du Parti libéral du Canada (PLC) à la Chambre des communes du Canada avant de retourner travailler pour Magna International. En 2006, elle fut pressentie pour se présenter dans la course à la direction du Parti libéral du Canada. Mais le 6 avril 2006, elle annonça qu'elle ne serait pas candidate, attribuant sa décision à son désaccord avec le mode d'élection par délégués plutôt que par un vote direct des membres du parti. Les observateurs jugeaient ses chances assez faibles, en raison du fait qu'elle n'est pas bilingue anglais-français, mais anglais-allemand. Son récent changement d'allégeance du Parti conservateur au Parti libéral était aussi un obstacle à surmonter, surtout qu'elle avait déjà été candidate à la direction du PC en 2005. (fr)
