- Gatorland ist ein Reptilien-Tierpark ca. 20 km südlich von Orlando im US-Bundesstaat Florida gelegen. Der Park wurde bereits 1949 von Owen Godwin unter dem Namen Florida Wildlife Institute eröffnet, also lange bevor Walt Disney World sich in der Nähe von Orlando angesiedelt hat. 1954 wurde der Park in Gatorland umbenannt. Der seit jeher von der Familie Godwin privat betriebene Park hat 2007 eine Fläche von ca. 44 ha. Markenzeichen des Gatorlands ist der als riesiges Alligatoren-Maul 1964 eingeweihte Parkeingang. Mehrere Hundert Alligatoren, Krokodile und Schlangen sind in dem Park zu sehen. Nach kontinuierlichen Erweiterungen sind in dem Park folgende Bereiche zu besichtigen:

- Gatorland is a 110-acre (45 ha) theme park and wildlife preserve in Florida, located along South Orange Blossom Trail south of Orlando. It was founded 73 years ago by Owen Godwin on former cattle land in 1949, and is privately owned by his family. Billed as the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland features thousands of alligators (including rare leucistic alligators) and crocodiles, and many other animals. Attractions in the park include a breeding marsh with a boardwalk and observation tower, zip lines, an off-road swamp vehicle tour, a ridable miniature railroad, alligator feeding shows, alligator wrestling shows, an aviary, a petting zoo, and educational programs. The breeding marsh area of the park was used in the filming of the 1984 movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The park is known for buying and rescuing nuisance alligators from trappers that would otherwise be killed for their meat and skin. Gatorland also manages the live alligator display at the Gaylord Palms resort in Kissimmee. (en)

Apelidado de "Capital mundial dos crocodilos", Gatorland reproduz milhares de filhotes de alligators e crocodilos, além de possuir equipes de veterinários e biólogos residentes. O parque tem como atração a exibição das espécies, pontos de observações, shows de répteis, programas educacionais, entre outros. O parque também acolhe animais atropelados ou feridos nas regiões próximas como crocodilos, anacondas e lagartos e os mantém em tratamento até que possam ser reinseridos na natureza.
