- LJA: El clavo es una historia de la editorial DC Comics publicada en tres partes de agosto a septiembre de 1998 en Estados Unidos. En México fue publicada por Grupo Editorial Vid en los meses de febrero, abril y junio del año 2000. Es una miniserie perteneciente a la línea de historias publicadas por DC Comics bajo el sello editorial Elseworlds, desarrollada en tres números con argumento y dibujo de Alan Davis, Mark Farmer como entintador y Patricia Mulvihill en el color. La historia describe una Liga de la Justicia integrada por Linterna Verde, Mujer Maravilla, Flash, Aquaman, Detective Marciano, Atom, Batman y La Mujer Halcón, donde Superman aún no existe y la gente no meta-humana, encabezada por Lex Luthor, ha declarado una guerra contra los superhéroes. - JLA: The Nail is a three-issue comic book mini-series published by DC Comics in 1998 under its Elseworlds imprint. The story, written and drawn by Alan Davis, is set in a parallel universe where Jonathan and Martha Kent's truck experiences a flat tire caused by a nail, which stops them from discovering a Kryptonian spaceship outside Smallville containing the baby Kal-El, negating Superman. It was later followed by a sequel, JLA: Another Nail, a three-issue mini-series published in 2004 which wrapped up several loose ends from the original mini-series, such as the war between the New Gods and the Green Lantern Corps and Oliver Queen's public betrayal of the Justice League. The story's theme is set in the first paragraph: For want of a nail the shoe was lost, for want of a shoe the horse was lost, for want of a horse the knight was lost, for want of a knight the battle was lost. So it was a kingdom was lost – all for want of a nail. (en)
