- The 1947 season was the 17th completed season of Finnish Football League Championship, which culminated in a play-off group comprising the winners and runners-up of the Palloliiton league and the Työväen Urheiluliiton league. The two top teams finished on equal points and met again in a play-off to determine the winners of the championship. (en)
- La saison 1946-1947 du Championnat de Finlande de football était la 17e édition du championnat de première division en Finlande. Les 8 meilleurs clubs du pays sont répartis en une poule unique où ils s'affrontent deux fois, à domicile et à l'extérieur. Les deux derniers de la poule sont relégués en Ykkonen, la deuxième division finlandaise, tandis que les deux premiers du classement disputent le Championnat de Finlande face aux 2 meilleurs clubs « ouvriers ». C'est le HIFK, club fédéral promu d'Ykkonen, qui remporte la compétition en battant lors de la finale d'appui le club ouvrier du TuTo Turku. Il titolo di campione di Finlandia venne assegnato con un torneo a quattro squadre, composto dalle prime due classificate nel campionato organizzato dalla SPL e le prime due del campionato organizzato dalla (TUL), e venne assegnato all'HIFK. - Sezon 1947 był 17. edycją rozgrywek o mistrzostwo Finlandii. Rozgrywano dwie osobne ligi, jedną dla klubów zrzeszonych w Fińskim Związku Piłki Nożnej (Suomen Palloliitto - SPL), drugą dla drużyn zrzeszonych w TUL. Każde z rozgrywek wyłaniały swojego osobnego zwycięzcę, jednak mistrzem Finlandii zostawała dopiero drużyna, która wygrywała organizowany na koniec sezonu turniej pucharowy dla najlepszych zespołów wewnętrznych lig SPL oraz TUL.
