Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, Gateway Community College in New Haven and North Haven, and Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury are the nearest of the state's other community colleges. Along with certificates, the college grants the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degrees. Graduates of NCC are eligible for articulated admission to the Connecticut state university system and the University of Connecticut.
