- The Masters is a Grand Slam event on the men's and women's World Curling Tour. It is the second Grand Slam event and first major on the women's and men's tour. The event is an amalgamation of the men's World Cup of Curling and the women's Sun Life Classic. There was also a men's Sun Life Classic, which has been discontinued. The Sun Life Classic was an annual WCT event (but not a Grand Slam event) held every November at the , and the Brantford Golf & Country Club in the Brantford, Ontario area. The World Cup was a Grand Slam event and was held in various locations across Canada, and was also previously known as the Masters. WCT 순위 순으로 초대장을 발부하여 초대에 응하는 팀을 출전시키게 되는데, 초대에 응하지 않는 팀이 나오는 경우, 하위 순위 팀에게 기회가 제공된다. 참가팀 15팀 중 적어도 14개 팀을 초대 방식으로 선정하게 되며, 나머지 한 팀은 스폰서의 요청에 따라 WCT 순위에 상관없이 출전시킬 수 있다. (ko)
