Angry Birds 2/Daily Challenge

The Daily Challenge is an optional mode in Angry Birds 2. Players are challenged by respective birds each day, given one full day to complete a daily challenge.

Monday: Red's Rumble
Tuesday: Blues' Brawl
Wednesday: Chuck's Challenge
Thursday: Matilda Mayhem
Friday: Silver Slam
Saturday: Bomb's Blast
Sunday: Terence Trial
After Completing One Of Them - King Pig Panic

If they do not have the respective bird, they will not be able to attempt the daily challenge.

The daily challenge consists of 3 stages, stage 1, stage 2 (hard level), and boss stage.

If the player passes a stage, the icon turns into a green tick and they will receive:

× 400 of the respective bird
× 1
× 1
× 1
× 30.

At any point the player fails or quits the icon turn into a red cross, the progress will reset and they will lose a heart, even if they quit without launching a single bird, the challenge will still fail regardless.

If the players can beat the daily challenge, player can unlock the King Pig Panic, how ever all 3 levels are boss levels, with the higher rewards: × 1,000 of the respective bird, × 1, × 1, and × 100 consisting in 3 stages, with a time limit until the next daily challenge.

The daily challenge has a passing streak, if the player goes seven days in a row without failing or miss a day, they will get a legendary chest on the seventh pass, if they miss a day the streak will break & they will have to start over. Clear more days will make the challenge harder, up to 4-5-6 rooms. However, miss more days will make the challenge easier.

2020 Updates

The new open screens for the challenges take up the whole screen with the birds and pigs hopping out from the left side of the streak stand. They don't have their speech bubbles anymore. There is also now a daily challenge streak and if you reach 7 wins in a row, you get a Legendary Chest. Nowadays, the prizes for completing the daily challenge are:

× 1
× 2-6 (depending on the bird)
× 1 Mighty Eagle Bootcamp extra bird card of the respective bird
× 100

The King Pig Shortcut! event has been added. This event lets you skip to the last level of the King Pig Panic after completing the Daily Challenge. If either fails or quits the shortcut at once, the challenge will start over as first level, non-shortcut, and regular version. However, fails or quits the shortcut will also lose a heart.

Trivia

"Strike!", "Birdie!", "Headpop!", and "Extra card!" do not appear in King Pig Panic, regardless of how the player does in the rooms.
In old versions of King Pig Panic, it initially had 5 levels, with the first four being normal levels and the last being a boss level, but this was later reduced to 3 levels, with all of them being boss levels.
Stella, Hal, Bubbles, Leonard, and Melody do not have their own daily challenge due them being Extra Birds.
In an update in the game of 2024, a difficulty meter would be shown based on how the player passes the daily challenge everyday, and every time they pass it, the rewards would be increased (Beginner to SuperBird), but the challenge would get harder. And if they miss a day, the rewards would become more smaller.
- King Pig Panic will always has 3-4-5 rooms and SuperBird difficulty.
If the player has collected enough apples for the day for the hatchling, the apples would be replaced by a Golden Duck Spell, until new apples would appear in the afternoon.
In current versions of the game, there was a glitch where a Rare Chest would appear in levels but after the player beats the level, it could not be opened. Because of this glitch, the extra card for the Mighty Eagle's Bootcamp, could not be collected. This was later fixed in an update where the chest would be removed and replaced by apples in levels.
"# win(s) in a row!" appears when completing 2 or more Daily Challenges at SuperBird difficulty.
- If missed a day, "# win(s) in a row!" disappeared.
When the game crashes out after collects an apple, the rewards will become lost and unclaimable.
