Dragon Pillar (臥龍アッパー, Garyou Appaa?, "Reclining Dragon Upper") is a base arte used by Karol Capel in Tales of Vesperia and a linked arte used by Jude Mathis and Elize Lutus in Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2.
Arte Description and History
In Tales of Vesperia, Karol performs an upward strike on his _target in a blue flash of energy. An extra slash is added if the "Attack Arte Charge" skill is equipped and "Mighty Charge" is used. In addition, the apex of the hit can be canceled into any aerial-enabled arte after 200 uses. In Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2, Jude and Teepo burrow beneath their _target before shooting upward in a combination of Jude's Dragon Shot and Elize's Teepo Quake artes.
