Merciless Thunder (雷電, Raiden?, "Thunderstorm") is a strike arte used by Ninjas in the Tales series that is commonly associated with the Lightning or Wind element.
Arte Description and History
When using this arte, the user throws a dagger or another bladed weapon at the enemy and upon contact, creates a lighting bolt strike. As it is used by Suzu Fujibayashi, it is heavily associated with Ninja characters, being in the repertoire of Kuchinawa from Tales of Symphonia and Jay from Tales of Legendia. In Tales of Crestoria, this arte inflicts Debilitate on the _target for two turns.
In both language files of Tales of Symphonia, there are unused voice clips of this arte used by Sheena Fujibayashi, who does not have access to this arte in the final version of the game.
