Tiger Blade Sigma (虎牙破斬・咢, Kogahazan Agito?, "Tiger Fang Breaking Slash Maw") is a linked mystic arte used by Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell, first appearing in Tales of Xillia.
Arte Description and History
When the mystic arte is performed, Jude and Milla charge at the enemy. Jude performs a series of punches that launch the _target into the air, where Milla meets them with a series of slashes that returns them back down. Before the _target lands, Jude and Milla both strike through the _target from opposite sides. In Tales of Xillia, this arte cannot be used until the final boss is defeated, after which the arcane artes required to activate it are obtained.
In Tales of Xillia 2, the player is required to complete the Bonus Episode to unlock the linked mystic arte, while the fractured Milla can only use it through a New Game Plus glitch.
In Tales of Berseria, this is the dual mystic arte performed by Jude and Milla. Jude first advances to punch the enemy and pushes them away. Milla then advances to lift the enemy slightly, which Jude follows by punching the ground to keep them airborne through force, and Milla moves behind the enemy and slashes them as she jumps above them. Finally, Jude jumps toward the airborne enemy just as Milla descends to strike the _target with simultaneous blows from above and below the _target.
In Tales of the Rays, it is Jude's and Milla's Water- and Wind-elemental crossover mirrage arte. Milla performs two wind slashes at the enemy with her sword and Jude spikes them to ground, trapping them into a icicle. Milla then charges in a spiral through the icicle while surrounded with wind before she returns to the ground while Jude leaps forward, striking the enemy from both directions and triggering an explosion made of ice and lightning.
