Eleanor Duckworth
Eleanor Ruth Duckworth (1935, Montreal) ye una teórica de la educación canadiense, especialista en psicoloxía cognitiva dende una perspeutiva constructivista, ex alumna, colega, traductora ya intérprete de Jean Piaget. Foi profesora de la Harvard Graduate School of Education (Facultá d'Educación de la Universidá de Harvard).

Duckworth llogró'l so doctoráu en Ciencies de la Educación na Universidá de Xinebra en 1977, encontando les sos investigaciones nes teoríes de Jean Piaget y Bärbel Inhelder sobre la naturaleza y desenvolvimientu de la comprensión y la intelixencia y nel so métodu d'investigación clínica. Desenvolvió'l métodu de la entrevista clínica de la escuela de Xinebra nun métodu d'enseñanza-investigación denomináu critical exploration ("esploración crítica").
Tamién foi maestra d'escuela primaria. La so participación en programes educativos de los años sesenta (Elementary Science Study y African Primary Science Program) foi xerminal pa les sos idees y práutiques nos métodos d'esploración na enseñanza y l'aprendizaxe. Intervieno en programes de formación del profesoráu y evaluación en países de tol mundu. Intervién n'organizaciones progresistes como United for Justice with Peace y Critical Explorers.[2]
