Background
Braga is exclusive to The Hobbit films, having not appeared in the original novel; he is a captain of the Lake-town guard under the Master of Lake-town and Alfrid. He nearly discovered Thorin and company after being ordered to throw fish into the lake, and later arrested Bard while the latter was attempting to prepare for Smaug's attack. He later joined the Master on a boat that they intended to escape town on, only to be crushed by Smaug's corpse.
