- This is the first appearance of Penny Sanchez in the Oh Yeah! Cartoons shorts as well as Biker Butch.
- This is the first short where Rudy is aged ten instead of eight. The reason for his age-up was due to Nickelodeon being interested in making the short series into a television show, but requested that Rudy had to be a little older.
- Snap is slightly re-designed in this short compared to his appearances in "ChalkZone" and "The Amazin' River". He will keep his re-design for the remainder of the series.
- This is the first episode where Snap shows jealousy over Penny. He would continue this until the end of season one.
- This is the first short where Rudy's crush on Penny would be shown.
- Clips from this episode were used in the show's theme song for the first two seasons, as well as Nickelodeon's music video of No Secrets' "Kids in America" in 2002 which feautured clips from other Nickelodeon shows at the time that featured kid characters.
- This episode, along with "Snapmobile" and "Future Zone", is the second episode of the series. However Nickelodeon aired the first season out of order and it ended up airing as the fourth episode.

Goofs
- When Rudy walks over to Penny's chalkboard at the beginning of the episode, the oval on his shirt is smaller than usual.
- When Snap pushes Rudy and Penny away from Biker Butch, the red checks on Penny's skirt turn light blue and her sock turn red.
- When Penny hugs Rudy and Snap, the red checks on her skirt turn blue and her skirt turns a somewhat darker shade of green.
- E.G. Daily is accidentally credited as "G. Daily" in the end credits when this short was aired as an episode of the series.
