Grönland ist ein autonomes Land, das zum Königreich Dänemark gehört. Am 21. Juni 2009 erlangte Grönland die Selbstverwaltung mit Bestimmungen zur Übernahme der Verantwortung für die Selbstverwaltung in den Bereichen Justiz, Polizeiwesen und natürliche Ressourcen.
Greenland and the Faroe islands are members of WIPO and party to most international treaties, but are not members of the European Union. Denmark has harmonized most of its intellectual property laws with the rest of Europe, and as of 2019 the laws of Greenland have been brought into conformance with Denmark.[1]
As of 2019, the copyright law of Greenland (archived copy at Wayback Machine) is effectively in accordance with the Copyright Act of Denmark, and therefore Danish copyright templates will be applicable, including for public documents.
