Archive October 2004
- I uploaded this, but the information given is inconsistent. The species Eremophila cornuta is not recognized nowadays, and I don't know whether to believe the scientific name (Eremophila = Horned Lark) or the common name (Skylark = Alauda). - Andre Engels 17:57, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Seems to be the "Horned Lark" based on a google comparison of Horned Lark with Adula -- Chris 73 10:31, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Similar case: Panyptila is the Swallow-tailed swift, the White-throated swift is Aeronautus. - Andre Engels 18:07, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Unless much more is coming in, a single page Olympic Games 2004 to me seems better. - Andre Engels 17:19, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Upload seems to have failed, and there is no indication of copyright either. - Andre Engels 17:19, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- The only page in this category has the total category as its subject. One category for each page seems not very useful. - Andre Engels 08:16, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- I can imagine having a category for a city like Rotterdam, but to have one for each larger town seems like an exaggeration to me. - Andre Engels 08:19, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- I think it would be better to have a single page Vlaardingen, at least for the time being. - Andre Engels 08:19, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- I had Robbot upload this, but I don't know who it is. The most likely candidate seems to be Sinasi Ibrahim Effendi, early Turkish modernist-nationalist, but the years of birth and death are not correct in that case. - Andre Engels 07:59, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Was created at the wrong place, now moved (to User:Nicobenschop). - Andre Engels 11:48, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Better as a normal page (see Neves-Stausee) and also using a non-standard naming convention. - Andre Engels 16:30, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Replaced with Category:Planes. Angela 00:40, 23 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- The pictures on this page have all been deleted, and it is as far as I know the only page in "Lastname, Firstname" format. - Andre Engels 11:29, 24 Oct 2004 (UTC)
