Rationale, discussion and results

Reason: This is not a request for a check user on the suspected sock master, because User:ImperialArchivesRU stopped editing on Commons on 20 October 2019 after barely a month of editing. I have a suspicion the actual sock master is an older account but am unsure who this might be. User:ImperialArchivesRU largely focussed on categories about royalty, and their user talk page shows several disputes about unilateral renames of categories. In some of their last edits User:ImperialArchivesRU created Commons:Categories for discussion/2019/09/Category:Princess Margarita of Romania where on 6 November 2019, User:Rereader1996 made their first edit in support of User:ImperialArchivesRU. In subsequent months User:Rereader1996 has edited several categories created or edited by User:ImperialArchivesRU, including:

Then on 9 March 2020, User:TheCommonsCorrecteur made their first edits followed by a number of edits in categories which had been edited by both User:ImperialArchivesRU and User:Rereader1996 including:

In each of these categories please look at the histories. Over the last week or so there has been category renaming by the two suspected sockpuppets, which has been mainly reversed by User:Tm resulting in edit warring. Despite requests and warnings from other users, including myself, these two users have continued making unilateral category renames. I have ended up protecting ten royalty-related categories to prevent continued disruption by these two users. What has finally convinced me to look deeper into this and make this check user request was this edit by User:Rereader1996 suggesting User:TheCommonsCorrecteur might want to join in at the AN/U entry they created against User:Tm.
