Summary

edit
Description This scarlet-white ibis hybrid was captured at the Anhinga Trail, Everglades National Park, FL on 24 January 2012. These hybrids are not common and have probably come about by the native white ibis mating with scarlet ibis that have escaped from captivity. Scarlet ibis are native to tropical South America and the Caribbean.
