English: Beyond the Blue Void’ is Sirio’s first oil-based self-portrait (the 2nd version is a digital print photography). While his face is cracked, bits of gold are used to ‘repair' his portrait, as the Japanese tradition of repairing with gold, Kintsugi, suggests that the medium becomes more valuable. Many patterns related to the early Albanian gold embroidered folkloric dresses can be observed, making in this way a link to his culture and it’s importance to self-identity. In this way, different from Blue Void, the golden cracks symbolize light. Created by Sirio Berati (@sirio)
Shqip: Përtej Zbrazëtirës Blu është auto-portreti i parë Sirio (versioni i dytë është një printim dixhital). Ndërsa fytyra e tij është plasaritur, copa prej ari përdoren për 'riparimin' e portretit të tij, pasi tradita japoneze e riparimit me arin, Kintsugi, sugjeron që mediumi dhe figura bëhet më e vlefshme pas këtij veprimi. Shumë modele që lidhen me veshjet e hershme folklorike shqiptare me motive ari mund të vërehen, duke e bërë kështu një lidhje me kulturën e tij dhe rëndësinë e vetë identitetit.
