English: This Marten, and two others, were chasing a poor squirrel around and around the trunk of this Lodgepole Pine in Grand Teton National Park when we came upon it. I believe we scared the other two away, but, this one kept chasing the squirrel. Finally, this one jumped off of the tree and that poor, (but lucky) squirrel just sat on the trunk in shock! |
