The castle and his estate are bought in 1817 by Baron Gaspard Henri de Finguerlin de Bischingen (1776-1856) and his wife Rose Henriette Peronne de Sercey (1772-1849) ), divorced from the German banker Conrad Johann Matthiessen (1751-1822). Their son-in-law, Lord Charles Strickland Standish (1790-1863), husband of Émilie Conradine Matthiessen (1801-1831), became owner from 1828 to 20 October 1835. The castle will be destroyed during the bombings of the First World War.
