Description
English: The central mosaic of the monument aux morts at Chepy in the Somme region of France. Pierre Ansart was the architect of this monument aux morts and the mosaics were thought to be the work of Gerard Ansart, one of the Ansart family. The monument was inaugurated on the 21st May 1922. Below this main mosaic is a second mosaic featuring a blue helmet and an oak branch with the names of some of the most important battles of the Great War
