Deutsch: Eine frisch geschlüpfte weibliche Hufeisen-Azurjungfer (Coenagrion puella) im Ahlenmoor, nördliches Niedersachsen. Beachte den Glanz der noch nicht vollständig ausgehärteten Flügel. Die für die reifen Azurjungfern typische Blaufärbung hat gerade begonnen sich zu entwickeln.
English: A straight hatched female of the Azure Damselfly (Coenagrion puella) in the Ahlenmoor, a peatland in northern Lower Saxony, Germany. Consider the gloss of the not yet completely hardened wings, which refer to freshly hatched individuals. The typical blue color of ripe Azure Damselflies is just beginning to develop.
