English: J. H. Angas' residence at Collingrove. This homestead was commenced in 1856 and was the family home of John Howard Angas, son of George Fife Angas. It was built of local stone and had a slate roof. John Howard Angas established himself as a pastoralist and philanthropist. Northern view shows ponies and an emu in foreground. |
