English: Space Shuttle Columbia landing on Rogers dry lake bed at Edwards Air Force Base, California after the completion of STS-1, the first shuttle mission. Reentry of the shuttle occurs above the speed of sound and causes a sonic boom which can be heard over the entire Antelope Valley.
