Object history | This is an original by Peale, likely drawn when Morgan passed through Philadelphia in 1794. The painting was put up for sale as early as 1795, and later sold to the City of Philadelphia in 1854.[1] Peale was willing to make copies of his original for sale.[2] | ||||||||||||||||||||
