Dr Aljechin herovert het wereldkampioenschap schaken; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 50 uit 1937.; Schaakwedstrijd om het wereldkampioenschap tussen A. Aljechin en M. Euwe, waarbij Aljechin wint. Na de wedstrijd wordt een toespraak gehouden door de voorzitter van het Euwe-Aljechin Comité, dhr. Max Levenbach, tot beide spelers, waarbij Aljechin met lauwerenkrans wordt omhangen. Tenslotte spreken beide schakers nog een kort woord voor de microfoon (Aljechin Frans- talig en Euwe Duits-talig).
