Description
English: The flag of the former municipality of Ballangen in the county of Nordland, Norway. Its design is shared with the municipal arms, and shows a hammer, symbolising the long history of mining in the area. The yellow colour stands for the wealth generated by the mines, while the green colour alludes to agriculture. The flag was approved by royal resolution 1980‐07‐18.
