Deutsch: Flagge der Stadt Köln
Beschreibung des Wappens: Die Stadt Köln führt das in der Anlage abgebildete Wappen. Die Hauptsatzung gibt keine Auskunft über die Blasonierung. „Unter rotem Schildhaupt, darin balkenweise drei goldene dreiblättrige Kronen, in Silber 11 schwarze Flammen (5:4:2).“
Beschreibung der Flagge gemäß Hauptsatzung:„Die Flagge der Stadt Köln ist rot-weiß längs gestreift.“ Tatsächlich muss die Beschreibung wie folgt lauten:„Die Flagge ist rot-weiß quergestreift im Verhältnis 1 : 1 mit dem kleinen Stadtwappen in der Mitte.“
