Deutsch: Motorschiff Österreich, Baujahr 1923, In Betrieb genommen 1928 am Bodensee, verschiedene Umbauten, 2015 bis 2019 umfassend renoviert und zurückgebaut, geweiht von Bischof Benno Elbs und neuerliche Jungfernfahrt am 18. April 2019. Damensalon, Intarsienbild. 1952 für die MS Österreich hergestellt, Künstler unbekannt. Motiv: erste Aufführung der Bregenzer Festspiele nach 1946.
English: Motorschiff Österreich (meaning: "Motorship Austria"), built in 1923, commissioned in 1928 at Lake Constance, various conversions, extensively renovated and redeveloped from 2015 to 2019, consecrated by Bishop Benno Elbs and renewed maiden voyage on 18 April 2019. Ladies salon, intarsia picture. Made in 1952 for the MS Austria, artist unknown. Theme: first performance of the Bregenz Festival after 1946. |
