On peut penser que cette estampe de format oban faisait partie d'un diptyque, comme c'est le cas pour les autres mois que l'on connait de cette série ; mais cette éventuelle deuxième volet du diptyque est resté inconnu.
Estampe nostalgique, où la courtisane de droite regarde la baie de Shinagawa, alors que la nuit tombe et que l'on distingue les feux des bateaux de pêcheurs.
