Description
English: Portrait of a prince seated on a golden throne, facing left, wearing a purple dress. Formerly attributed to Miran Shah by Ouseley in the 19th century, reversed by the Bodleian Library:

"Description: An album of 33 calligraphic specimens and 34 paintings, labelled (in many cases incorrectly) by Sir Gore Ouseley as portraits of the Mughal emperors. Many of the borders are 19th-century coloured paper pasted to the pages. With a manuscript introduction naming the supposed subjects of the portraits, by Sir Gore Ouseley (undated), and two European lithographs. Created in India, 17th-18th centuries. Place of Origin: India. Languages: English, Persian. Provenance: From the collection of Sir Gore Ouseley (1770-1844). Former Owner: Ouseley, Gore, Sir, 1770-1844" Bodleian Library MS. Ouseley Add. 173

Ouseley's 18th century interpretation of Miran Shah is not supported by the Bodleian Library, who attributes it to an undefined Prince:
