Description Molesworth, England. c. 1941-11. Portrait of Pilot Officer (PO) A. W. Doubleday, left, and PO W. L. Brill. Both were farmers from Wagga Wagga, NSW, and were original members of No. 460 Squadron RAAF, based at an RAF Station. They had parallel careers, won the DSO and DFC and subsquently commanded Lancaster squadrons in Bomber Command. Note: SUK14984, a duplicate of this image at the Australian War Memorial, is captioned Molesworth, Yorkshire, England. C. 1942. Pilot Officer (PO) A. W. Doubleday, left, and PO W.
