He has participated as soloist with Moscow State Symphony Orchestra ( Russia), Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid (España),Orchestra Tito Schipa ( Lecce, Italia), Flint Symphony Orchestra (MI, USA), Long Beach Symphony Ochestra (Ca, USA), Sinfónica Petrobras (Río de Janeiro Brasil), Filarmónica de Bogotá (Columbia), Orquesta de Cámara del Conservatorio Nacional de Música, Mexico. He studied under world-known musicians such as: Bogdan Bácanu, Katarzyna Myćka, Eduardo Leandro, Steven Schick, Ralph Humphrey, Joe Porcaro, Momoko Kamiya, Enrique Diemecke, Tony Inzalaco, Kurt Masur among others. He also attended the International Katarzyna Myćka Marimba Academy in Warsaw, Poland. In 2004 he was invited as soloist to 4th Marimba International Festival that took place in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico. In 2005 he obtained the 1st prize in the competition for percussion held by the National Music Conservatory and he was invited to the 5th Marimba International Festival at the National Centre of Arts in Mexico City, where he participated as soloist and as art director for Ensamble Rythus. He received a grant of studies for the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. He appeared as a soloist at the Sala Principal del Palacio de Bellas Artes. He had collaborated with the National Symphonic Orchestra, the Academic Orchestra of Campos do Jordão, the Bohuslav Martinů Orchestra among others. He held concerts in venues such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Sala São Paulo, Sala Nezahualcoyotl, Sala Leopoldina, Dům Culture, and the Kiaz Castle, Poland. He was in charge of premieres of works of contemporary music, marimba concerts as well as their recordings. At the moment, he is supervising (the project of) the Minimalist Music Ensamble Rythus. He combines his activities as percussionist with music conducting. |
