English: The last outdoor breakfast in my 10 month journey around the Continent and up past the Arctic Circle, was fittingly at the monument to Camp Disappointment, so names by Capt. Meriweather Lewis because the Marias river below did not make it to 50 degrees North, as Lewis had hopped, there by expanding the Louisiana purchase. |
