Español: La serie Tiempo en la piel del pintor colombiano Andres Alarcón se inscribe en una actualidad cultural que vuelve a poner en la mira a la pintura como horizonte de compromiso estético y como respuesta a las nuevas exigencias creativas en el arte. Figura emergente de la nueva figuración colombiana, Andres Alarcón recupera el acervo cultural de las tradiciones artísticas europeas para representar el mundo desde la intimidad de los espacios cotidianos de la vida popular en América Latina. Su obra, de evidente compromiso estético, fuerza poética y notable virtuosismo, presenta escenas y retratos que dan cuenta de un considerable dominio del volumen, de un gusto por el detalle y de una particular aptitud para producir síntesis visuales.
