English: U.S. Army Soldiers, assigned to 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, perform weapons maintenance alongside a UH-60 Black Hawk before conducting aerial gunnery training at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, April 6, 2022. Bulgaria is a steadfast and gracious host to Atlantic Resolve Regionally Allocated Forces (RAF). NSTA provides these RAF units with premier range facilities, which contribute to overall combat readiness of U.S. forces. “Air Cav” is part of V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe, that works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces and retains command and control for all rotational units in the European theater.
