Welcome to my userpage. My name is Emilio and emijrp is my nickname on the Internet. I'm from Spain and I like the idea of compiling the sum of all human knowledge and its preservation. I joined to Wikimedia Commons in 2005 collaborating regularly.

As of 2024, I have uploaded about 20,000 files and I have contributed more than 240,000 hand-made edits and over 80 million bot edits to all Wikimedia projects. In Wikimedia Commons, I enjoy uploading images from my travels. I'm also active on Wikipedia and Wikidata (see statistics).

My interests include arts, astronomy, cinema, cultural heritage, archives, libraries, museums, digital preservation, politics, reading, travelling, history, photography and many more. I am always discovering new interesting topics.

I am not very fluent in English, so please help me to fix any mistakes in my userpage. Thanks in advance.
