PROJECTS

As an editor becomes more involved with Commons, they set goals and create projects for what they wish to accomplish. While I have many smaller on-going projects that start and end before I can list them, here is a bit of what I've got going on:

• Category:Pronunciation/Commons:Pronunciation files requests - Properly name/harmonize (utilizing language codes) files, categorize by gender (Category:Pronunciation by gender), categorize by accent [when possible] (i.e. Category:French pronunciation by accent), and utilize Template:Pronunciation, Template:Speaker, Template:Male voice and Template:Female voice. All categories with files should have __NOGALLERY__. Category key's are also essential for files and categories. (i.e. separate languages via key in Category:Pronunciation of the number 15. |15 --> |Welsh.
  • Estimated pages effected: ~600,000
  • Edits to date: ~148,254
  • Files moved to date: ~3,800
• User:RileyBot currently only runs one automated task, the rest are manually re-run by myself. My goal is to have more tasks run via crontab to assist with this. I am constantly completing tasks at Commons:Bots/Work requests. User:RyanBot is actively helping with the above project.
