You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Please do not overwrite files

I noticed that you uploaded a file using the name File:A main shrine and Purification trough (temizuya) of Tarenui-jinja shrine (Miho village, Ibaraki Pref.).jpg. A file by this name already existed on Commons. Overwriting an existing file should not be done except when making minor, uncontroversial corrections, so the file has been restored to its previous version. If the file that you attempted to upload is within our project scope and is in the public domain or published under a free license, please upload it again under a different name. Thank you. 以上はテンプレートによる定型文で、以下は直に書く文です。少し前の話で恐縮ですが、

ですが、撮影日が異なる画像を上書きアップロードするのは原則として禁止されていますのでご注意申し上げます。理由は簡単でして、履歴を見れば判るかと思いますが、このファイルの分類などに小石川人晃様以外の人間の手間が掛かっており、上書きはそれらの労力を無にするものだからです。一度コモンズに投稿されますと、これは小石川人晃様の私物ではなくなり（著作権の一部は保持されたままですが）、いわば事典制作のための公共物のようになります。上記ファイルについては最初の画像へ差し戻しましたので、12月に上書きアップロードを試みられた画像につきましては、必要なら別のファイル名で再アップロードして下さいますようお願い致します。--トトト (talk) 20:48, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

こんにちは。そらみみと申します。小石川人晃さまがファイルを作成する時に、よくCategory:Parks in Japan by cityやCategory:Elementary schools in Japan by cityのような中間カテゴリにファイルを入れるのを拝見しましたが、いずれもページの冒頭に「ここは上位分類のための中間カテゴリです」についての説明がありますので、具体の県あるいは都市のカテゴリに入れるようにお願いいたします。--そらみみ (talk) 12:09, 4 September 2020 (UTC)修正--そらみみ (talk) 12:21, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
