Whom?
editYeah, it's tedious but I think I knew that. Some are earlier images, before I really noticed the code at the top of the page, haha. I will get to it eventually, of that I am certain.A mcmurray 08:29, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Category:National Register of Historic Places in Florida deletion
editImage deletion warning | Category:National Register of Historic Places in Florida has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

Hardcore
editAre you hard core uploading pictures, John, arrr, so that's your name...huh? Anyway, check the task force page I set up in my sandbox if you didn't see my message on Wikipedia. Let me know what you think, I have a few more pages to create and it will be ready to go live, maybe you could post an announcement in the appropriate place(s)?A mcmurray 21:15, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the thanks
editSince there was a comment on the Village Pump from someone a while back about not being able to find pics of American houses (!), when I came across that page I catted it. Looks like your project is quite extensive - keep up the good work! Man vyi 21:21, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

editThanks for recatting a bunch of my images, I have been slowly making progress at it but you went pretty far with it. thanks.A mcmurray 22:05, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I think I will have to make wikipages to link to for some of the other stuff I have, I started a page for Sycamore Historic District, but I haven't updated it in a bit.A mcmurray 22:08, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Your galleries
editPictures of (mostly historic) places I've visited, and included in Wikipedia articles. Some hidden stuff.
I noted this at the top of one of your old galleries. I just had to say, I absolutely love finding hidden stuff. I got this, (Samuel M. Hitt House) and this. I am looking for more but am preoccupied with uploading photos from my recent expedition to McLean County and Bloomington, Illinois and its outlying towns (my hometown btw). My next plan is to go mad with Frank Lloyd Wright. Three historic districts within an hour of my house over in Oak Park, Illinois. Oak Park has the largest concentration of Wright designed buildings in the world. It should be quite awesome as the Wiki coverage in this area is very weak, and just about every one of those buildings is extremely notable, internationally so, so that project is going to be loads of fun to work on because of the sheer volume of sources on the topic and its utmost importance. So I guess those are my next big projects, besides bringing other articles up to GA and beyond, I just had to cool it on the stubbing, someone else can do that...Phew...It's more fun for me to see a wonderful and authoritative piece than it is to have my list red link free (although that would be nice). : ) A mcmurray 16:54, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- How many are there?A mcmurray 06:53, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- The only stuff hidden is headers for cities and towns. I created them all at once, since I had the list of where all the historic places are. Then I just unhide the ones I've most recently gotten pics for. I know, what a disappointment. :( --Ebyabe 12:03, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

NRHP sites in Florida
editI'd love to help out when I can, but I'm only down there a few times a year (a weekend or two in Brevard County, and an annual college hockey tournament in Estero). I've already committed the dorky sin of going out of my way on a roadtrip to take a picture of something for wikipedia, so I'm sure I'll do it again. I'll see what I can do when I'm there next weekend, and I'll try to keep it in mind when I go down the future. Your pictures are very nice, btw. Best of luck with your project and please drop me a line if you have a specific request from those areas. Cornellrockey04 21:18, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

editHi, Can you correct the licence of this file I've just uploaded? Image:Sorting quicksort anim.gif--Soroush83 14:58, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- It looks ok to me. What's the problem? -Ebyabe 15:00, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- It's not my own work and such {{user2|... licence isn't available!!! I took it from English Wikipeida.--Soroush83 15:04, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- I know there's a way, but I can't figure out what it is. Maybe you can contact the original creator of the file, 'cause it looks like he's still active. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. :( -Ebyabe 15:13, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe {{PD-user-en}}?? -Ebyabe 15:15, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Image:Crystal River NPP01.jpg
editHi. The pictures that you have labeled as being the nuclear power plant at Crystal River are actually two of the coal-fired units (units #4 & 5) at the complex. The nuclear plant (unit 3) is south of those coal plants and it does not have a cooling tower. It uses water from the Gulf of Mexico for cooling.Fl295 18:06, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello, and thank your for sharing your files with Commons. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. Please remember that all uploads require source, author and license information. Could you please resolve these problems, which are described on the page linked in above? Thank you. --Siebrand 00:22, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, I'm normally very good about that. They're fixed. Thanks for the headsup! :) --Ebyabe 00:34, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

- Thank you! If there had been a speedy delete template, I'd have used that. But as long as they go away, that's cool. :) -Ebyabe 23:58, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- ... there is, it's {{speedydelete|reason}} :) - for next time. There are a couple more templates for deletion stuff, see Commons:Deletion guidelines if you're interested. Deadstar 09:22, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- I thought there would be some, but couldn't find them. But of course I won't need them in the future, b/c I never make the same mistake twice. I make entirely new mistakes. On second thought, I probably will need them. So again, much thanks. ;) -Ebyabe 13:29, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing Hacienda #2
editThanks for welcoming me in, and fixing Hacineda Hotel #2. I'm also having problems with redlinks on the commons, that I wasn't having on Wikipedia itself. You use 2GB chips? I just use disposable cameras, and wait until they're finished before getting the images onto a Photo CD. Oh, well. I'll just keep adding more images in the future. ----DanTD 05:41, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- You're quite welcome. ;) I usually link back to Wikipedia on cities and such, since there's not "articles" about them here, mostly. If you precede the link with w:, like w:New Port Richey, Florida, it'll work. Like w:New Port Richey, Florida. I was doing the exact same thing (disposable cameras and photo CDs), but broke down and got the digital for Xmas. Got tired of being on a trip and using up the disposables I had, then trying to find a Dollar General to buy more. And not knowing how well they turn out. Now I can preview pics, and take as many as I want. Figure that the digital payed for itself after the first two or three trips, just in not having to buy disposable cameras and photo CDs. The package I got came with a 1 GB chip, but with the trip down thru Pasco and Hernando and Hillsborough counties, I figure I might use it up. Yeah, I am a picture taking fool. So keep up the good work uploading! Now to upload the stuff from my panhandle trip yesterday. :) -Ebyabe 20:04, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks so much for your picture of Florida State Hospital
editIt's beautiful! WhoNose 01:08, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I lucked out; it was a gorgeous day too. Took pics of a few of the other buildings there which I need to upload, but the few so far will hopefully hold folks over. :) -Ebyabe 01:18, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
