Oi! Bom, antes de carregar um ficheiro de um site externo tente familiarizar-se com Commons:Licensing#Acceptable licenses. E se estiver tudo okay, insere {{LicenseReview}} (parecido com {{Flickrreview}} que você já deve conhecer) para que o licenciamento possa ser verificado e confirmado por um outro usuário (os license reviewer). O resultado da revisão da licença é gravado como neste exemplo = File:Mourning Dove 2006.jpg. Gunnex (talk) 17:32, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Para tirar dúvidas é melhor indicar duas páginas: A página web (exemplo: http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/esporte/2013/09/1346715-neymar-faz-o-1-gol-no-campeonato-espanhol-em-vitoria-do-barcelona.shtml) e o link direto para a imagem (no exemplo: http://f.i.uol.com.br/fotografia/2013/09/24/320458-970x600-1.jpeg).

"Moedas" é um assunto complicado, especialmente em casos de moedas atuais (porque para cada país existe uma legislação diferente sobre os direitos autorais). Ver também Commons:Currency. Em geral, dois "copyrights" estão envolvidos. 1. O motivo/desenho da moeda (criado por alguém, p.ex. por um banco nacional) e 2. o fotógrafo que fez a imagem. Em outras palavras: Uma foto de uma moeda antiga (motivo/desenho da moeda em domínio público) é ainda protegida por direitos autorais quando a foto demonstra originalidade (tipicamente, através da escolha de enquadramento, iluminação, ponto de vista, etc. = elementos 3D). E mesmo se fosse só uma mera reprodução 2D, a posição do Commons é --> Commons:Quando usar a marcação PD-Art#Fotografia de uma moeda antiga encontrada na internet. Thx, I already saw these links but File:Camera.jpg was uploaded in 12.01.2007 at Commons and the both "listas" were only created in 2012 & 2013. So, the image might be grabbed originally from Commons. I tried to localize an earlier published version of File:Camera.jpg (before 12.01.2007) but without success. At the moment, I have no arguments which could justify a deletion request...

Dúvida sobre ingles

• en:Grocery store (retail store that sells food and other non-food items) = pt:Mercearia = pequena loja tradicional vende produtos de grande consumo.
• en:Supermarket (a large form of the traditional grocery store) = pt:Supermercado = uma variante maior de uma mercearia.
• Markets pode ser considerado como termo genérico para "Grocery store" ou "Supermarket". No Commons (via Category:Markets by type) (ver também en:Marketplace = pt:Mercado (comércio)) me parece mais relacionado com estabelecimentos temporários (por exemplo, um feira natalina, um mercado de frutas e legumes de um bairro num certo dia da semana). Mas ver também Category:Markets in Brazil, especialmente os mercados centrais e/ou municipais...

Obrigado, é que esta ficando dificil categorizar alguns itens. Neste caso, uma foto do Carrefour se enquadraria em qual destas definições? ele vende comida e muitos outros itens, quase como uma loja de departamentos, enquanto que ao lado dele existe o que chamamos de supermercado, bem menor que vende tambem outros itens alem de comida mas, é basicamente um mercado de comidas.

veja Category:Supermarkets in Porto Alegre. coloquei os dois juntos.

Category:Carrefour é definitivamente um supermercado e está sub-categorizado em Category:Supermarkets by brand. E Category:Supermarkets é um Category:Retail buildings.

Na Category:Markets in Porto Alegre eu categorizaria (como já disse acima) somente ficheiros relacionados com mercados temporários & provisórios tipo mercado de peixe, de legumes e frutas, etc.

Meu grupo de fotos é esteticamente homogêneo com relação ao processamento. Note que a resolução de todas as fotos que você mencionou é baixa e que há um nível similar de granulação em todas. Todas passaram pelo mesmo processo de edição, com clareamento da imagem e aumento do brilho. Ou seja, foram tiradas com a mesma câmera fotográfica e passaram pelo mesmo processo de edição utilizando o software Picasa. É uma "assinatura". Nenhuma das outras fotos postadas por "Marcelo Victor" segue o mesmo padrão, a maioria possui resolução absolutamente maior. Note que o mesmo padrão de fotografia dessas fotos e de edição ocorre em outras fotos minhas do mesmo período 2007/2009. Como essa, ou essa, ou essa e outras centenas.

Note também que é possível encontrar referências a outras fotos postadas por "Marcelo Victor" utilziadas em outros locais e anteriores ao thread. Hi there! I don´t think so. Mostly all of his uploads (user´s home wiki is trwiki, +/- 8300 global edits) are configured - as the the above example - with exif SAMSUNG EK-GC100 (2013) and SONY DSC-HX7V (2012-2011), mostly uploaded with a reasonable resolution. Some other exif data available by doing crops from other works. I know, exif is manipulable but unlikely in all these cases. I have checked the file above and around 10 random files and noted no irregularities. All information without guarantee ;-) Gunnex (talk) 17:52, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Gostaria de chamar à sua atenção este (repetido) pedido de recuperação de uma imagem. Esta mostrava parte da platéia numa convenção partidária do P.M.D.B., e era a única da respetiva categoria a mostrar apoiantes anónimos, ao invés de manda-chuva. Apesar de eu ter argumentado com esse ponto, a foto foi apagada, tida por irrelevante e sem interesse enciclopédico (contrastando com o modo como fotos semelhantes de outros países são consideradas), e a sua recuperação subsequentemente pedida foi recusada, por «falta de apoio». At URAA date 01.01.1996 all these files were not in public domain in Argentina and had their copyrights restored by US law +95 years since publication. Hi Cazadoroculto! This image is an Argentine work, published/created in 1984 and was licensed with {{PD-AR-Photo}}. On upload date at Commons this image was in public domain in Argentina but not in the United States (and Commons licensing policy is: "Wikimedia Commons only accepts media (...) that are in the public domain in at least the United States and in the source country of the work.".) Why this? Because of Commons:URAA-restored copyrights. Mostly every non-US work, which was not in public domain in its source country at URAA-date 01.01.1996 (valid mostly for all countries, including Argentina), had their copyright restored with +95 years after publication/creation. In the above example: Created/published in 1984 --> + 1 + 25 years = since 01.01.2010 in public domain in Argentina but not in public domain in the United States at URAA-date 01.01.1996 = restored copyright = 1984 + 1 + 95 = in public domain in the United States only on 01.01.2080. Hi, I've added some information about the file on the discussion page. When I uploaded the file on Jan 18, 2012 I used the original image (in my personal archive, of course) and reprocessed in order to upload it to Commons again. I'm the original owner of the file, and, as you can see, | the first uploader too, even before wikitravel and wikivoyage. I don't know if the original image can be restored from Jan 6, 2006, but I think it's impossible to get a higher-res version of the file (and EXIF info, of course) if you don't have the original (or at least, a bigger) image, so it can be used as a proof I am the original owner of the photograph. Hey. I'm writing after reading Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Fmln93. I wanted you to know that on spanish wiki these two users, along with another one, were blocked for sharing their accounts, two indefenetly and the other for a month or so. Allegedly, they declared themselves to be brothers and the other account was also unblocked. Nonetheless, I think it is reason enought to take a look at Laln93's uploads, either beacuse he is Fmln93's brother, or because Fmln93 might have used his account.

The problem is the license {{PD-AR-Photo}} you used in these files. {{PD-AR-Photo}} is a time-dependent license where photos fall in public in domain in Argentina after 25 year of creation and 20 years of publication. Considering this, they were not in public domain in Argentina at URAA-date 01.01.1996 and with this not in public domain in the United States. COM:L (the licensing policy of Commons): "Wikimedia Commons only accepts media that (...) are in the public domain in at least the United States and in the source country of the work". If these photos are really your own work, you may relicense the files, using (e.g.) {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}} for the license and configuring the source with {{Own}} (= "own work", and not with a non-existing template). This photo is on public domain because was used by the goverment of Ramon Bautista Mestre (public figure) when he was mayor of Cordoba (1983-1991). It has more of 25 years old -original photo copyright law in my country- (Non-U.S._copyrights). And acordling to wikimedia "This work is in the public domain in the United States because it was first published outside the United States (and not published in the U.S. within 30 days)" . The author "Carolina Sorrentino" takes this photo (and modified by me), but is not the original portrait owner. Hi GM83! First of all, I can not reconstruct why I tagged this file with "no permission" because normally this file would have needed a deletion request. Why this? Because this file has a COM:URAA-problem. File:Mestre-1987.jpg was (as indicated) created in 1987 and is licensed with {{PD-AR-Photo}} (+ 25 years). The file was neither in public domain in Argentina at upload date here in Commons (1987 + 25 = 2012 versus upload date 2011) nor in public domain in the United States at URAA-date 01.01.1996 and the copyright was restored with +95 years = copyrighted in the United States till the end of 2082. COM:L: "Wikimedia Commons only accepts media that are (...) in the public domain in at least the United States and in the source country of the work.". But Facebook is a writen permission and is not the original from her, was -severely- modified by me (you can see commons history link to facebook and the original poster in lavoz link). The file will be deleted in the next days. Regarding Facebook and "public places" --> do not interpret a "public" post on Facebook with a free licensing. Without further specification, all photos posted on Facebook are copyrighted. "I would take other photo owned " --> Owning something gives you not the right to publish it under a free license. You might want to take a look at the whole gallery of [11] whose image of a futbol player from the 1950s I just deleted per your nom. He seems to have several other images from the same and other publications, all marked "out of copyright". I'm not as expert on non-US copyright terms, but those don't seem right. Cheers! Peruvian copyright

Your deletion request is without merit. The copyright law (number 13714) presented by Peru's President Manuel Prado & Ugarteche had a 20 year protection for photographs published in Peru. This copyright law function effectively from 4 November 1961 up to 24 May 1996. The photograph you seek to delete was, by 1993, no longer under copyright protection. Also, the 1996 copyright law makes no indication that it is retroactive on those works whose copyright had already expired. The subject simply isn't mentioned in the new copyright law, therefore it has no legal existence. There is no ambiguity on the status of those works that were no longer under the prior copyright law's protection. These works are in the public domain.--MarshalN20 (talk) 00:46, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

PD-Brazil-media

Hello! So, what is the threshold for the use of {{PD-Brazil-media}}? I think the text embedded in the license tag should be reviewed to clarify this situation. If a regular user reads:

According to the Brazilian Copyright Law (Lei 9.610 de 19 de fevereiro de 1998;

Article 44: The economic rights in audiovisual and photographic works shall be protected for a period of 70 years from the first of January of the year following that of their disclosure;

Therefore, it's easy to assume that any work published before Dec. 31 1943 is copyright free. A better text should avoid this kind of unpleasant situations. Dantadd✉ 17:56, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

Uppsss... didn't I answer this already? Desculpe :-). {{PD-Brazil-media}} is configured with 70 years from the first of January of the year following that of their disclosure. That means: A Brazilian audiovisual and photographic work is in public domain in Brazil if published till the end of 1943. Note, that "work" is here limited only to audiovisual (movie & sounds) and photographic works.

Any other work (e.g. a painting, a design, a drawing, etc.) is protected by 70 pma or (if anonymous or pseudonymous) 70 years publication. Note, that anonymous or pseudonymous is not "unknown".

However, works which were not yet in the public domain in Brazil on the COM:URAA date (1 January 1996) are copyrighted for 95 years from publication (or 120 years from creation, whichever expires first) and are not in public domain in the United States. Commons requires files to be free in both the United States and in the source country.

Resuming (excluding {{PD-BrazilGov}}-issues):

• Brazilian photo, movie or sound finished before January 1, 1923 --> in public domain in Brazil and in the United States = {{PD-BR-1937}}/{{PD-1923}}
• Brazilian photo, movie or sound finished after Dezember 31, 1922 till the end of 1936 --> in public domain in Brazil and in the United States = {{PD-BR-1937}}/{{PD-1996}}
• Brazilian audiovisual and photographic work + anonymous or pseudonymous work published after Dezember 31, 1936 till the end of 1943 --> in public domain in Brazil but not in public domain in the United States = {{PD-Brazil-media}}/{{Not-PD-US-URAA}}
• Brazilian audiovisual and photographic work + anonymous or pseudonymous work published after Dezember 31, 1943 --> not in public domain.
• Brazilian paintings, designs, drawings, etc. --> depending on biographical data of author (70 pma) or (if anonymous or pseudonymous) 70 years publication + eventual COM:URAA-problem (see above and {{URAA artist}}).
• Note, that the 1998 law increased pma/publication-terms from 60 to 70 years and defined in its transitional provision that "A work that has passed into the public domain on the expiry of the term of protection provided for in paragraph (2) of Article 42 of Law No. 5988 of December 14, 1973, may not be granted an extension of the term of protection of the economic rights under Article 41 of this Law.". This is reflected for Brazilian photos, movies or sounds by {{PD-BR-1937}}. For Brazilian paintings, designs, drawings, etc. who's authors died between 1936-1937, there is apparently a grey area. Works of a (e.g.) Brazilian painter who died in 1937 were in public domain in Brazil at law date 1998 (1998 - 60 - 1 = 1937) and the copyright was therefore not extended but were not in public domain in the United States at URAA-date (1 January 1996).

Currently, the URAA-issue is discussed via Commons:Massive restoration of deleted images by the URAA.

Considering all this, we can not summarize the copyright status of Brazilian works with "any work published before Dec. 31 1943 is copyright free". It depends on multiple factors. Hope, this helps. Gunnex (talk) 11:18, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the answer, but this keep getting more and more difficult to non "professional" users. In my opinion, it would be better to change the license and incorporate the new deadline of December 31, 1936.
