Flag and coat of arms of Spain

edit

I know you have good intentions, and maybe those colours look better, but they are not the official ones. You can enter lamoncloa.gob.es and then you'll see I'm right. RelShot 263 (talk) 13:40, 2 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

You should upload your version to a new file name. The nuances are too unlike. See COM:OVERWRITE. I will revert your version. If you disagree, please take this discussion instead of reverting me, so to avoid one hundred reverts.Jonteemil (talk) 07:25, 21 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

hi, I understand that my version is somewhat different and does not look as good. But It is the flag of Montenegro as instructed by the official source. It is not a new version. We should follow the description rather than imitate the picture in the paper, we did the same for Slovenia. So if you agree, please revert to my version. Kamran.nef (talk) 11:39, 21 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hello, the version at https://media.gov.me/media/gov/2021/04/08/16178742411hmnzijopajxovl4-i_679x960.jpg?cacheControl=1617881440 does look more similar to the previous version. Your version is too light. If it is as you claim, why wouldn't they use your version there?Jonteemil (talk) 12:40, 21 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I know that they look different, but this is the image provided by the Slovenian government. It looks different from the version on Wikipedia because we followed the instructions from the same source. We didn't copy the image. This is the same case.Kamran.nef (talk) 12:50, 21 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'm reverting it. Kamran.nef (talk) 12:50, 22 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

A couple of maps that need fixing

You seem to have broken the eye of the eagle - the pupil is no longer visibly distinct from the rest of the eye due to incorrect (gold) color applied to its outline instead of turquoise. Quite high zoom required to see the difference. Error introduced in revision 20220903200816, not present in 20220902181323 or 20220902161859. — 2406:3003:2077:1E60:ACCA:9BE:7071:C8C2 04:14, 16 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

EU membership map.

edit

European leaders today also granted Ukraine and Moldova with the start of membership talks. So they should be updated as well. Aimmella12 (talk) 19:34, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Latvia

edit

The source for the version of the flag of Latvia is supported in the source. We have two files, the physical flag (darker) and the digital one (lighter). All physical flags are named as File:Flag of X.svg, so why are you trying to make a case that Latvia shouldn't be? ImStevan (talk) 09:44, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@ImStevan Not Canada and Switzerland, look File:Flag_of_Canada_(Pantone).svg Kamran.nef (talk) 02:01, 10 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Source that that is the physical/digital flag? ImStevan (talk) 08:32, 10 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean? Kamran.nef (talk) 19:24, 10 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Show me a source stating the pantone flag of Canada is the one flown in real life/used digitally ImStevan (talk) 17:40, 14 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@ImStevan I do not have a source. I dis not take part in the creation of those flags. I am just saying there exist precedents for such usage. Kamran.nef (talk) 01:17, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
How can you prove that it's a precedent when you can't even prove that the pantone flag is not the default physical flag ImStevan (talk) 03:52, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
