ESC 2017 Map
editPlease redownload the ESC 2017 map for further edits as your version is missing some parts of Greenland and Tasmania so it does not have to be corrected every time you update the map. Thanks! --Avis28 (talk) 16:30, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, I just noticed that! I don't know why is that happening, I always download the newest version before I edit. I just tried to do it, and my editor has done it itself, I tried again, and it has done the same. I guess I have to find a new editor... Thank you for letting me know! ESC 2018 Map
editGood evening!
I would like to alert you that the current map is incorrect. Russia and the Czech Republic have already confirmed their presence on Eurovision Song Contest 2018, as you can check the following links.
- Confirmation of Russia's participation: http://www.escportugal.pt/2017/05/esc2018-jon-ola-sand-garante-que-russia.html (in Portuguese)
- Confirmation of Czech Republic's participation: http://www.escportugal.pt/2017/05/chequia-emissora-ct-tenciona-continuar.html (in Portuguese)
I would remind you that the following source is credible and the site is recognized by the European Broadcasting Union.
I hope you will take into account my contribution so that the situation can be resolved.
Thank you very much!

- IntellingentMen Thanks for your feedback, but both those countries haven't yet officially confirmed their participation. Slovenia also gave some information about their selection process, which makes their participation more than likely. But there wasn't an announcement "Slovenia: ESC 2018 participation confirmed". Same for Russia (only the EBU stated something, while Russia-1 stays quiet) and Czech Republic (they are almost sure they will participate, but the confirmation isn't official yet). I personally consider those statements a confirmation, but to be marked with purple it has to be 100% official.
- I made the map to suit the article it is standing for - Eurovision Song Contest 2018, where it says Russia and Czech Republic still haven't confirmed their participation (or at least it was the case when I updated the map). Mihitza78 talk 22:26, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
Editing files on Wikimedia Commons
editHello
I've seen that you recently edited the map for Eurovision 2018, now that Bosnia and Herzegovina won't come back and the country should be marked yellow, I thought of learning how to do it myself. Unfortunately I couldn't find any help or instruction for editing on WC, so maybe you could tell me? It would be very helpful and nice from you.

Croatian passport freedom or movement
editDo you think you could update the Croatian passport visa free map to include Switzerland as full freedom of movement in dark blue. Croatian citizens will receive full free movement on the 1st of January so it is time that this was updated. Thank you :)
