English: Launch Complex 39 (LC-39) is a rocket launch site at the John F. Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida, United States. The site and its collection of facilities were originally built for the Apollo program, and later modified to support the Space Shuttle program. NASA began modifying LC-39B in 2007 to accommodate the Constellation program and later the Artemis program, while SpaceX secured a 20-year lease on LC-39A in 2014 to launch their Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets.
