Italiano: Lo stemma di Albano di Lucania raffigura una quercia stilizzata, simbolo dell'immenso bosco che Albano aveva e che si estendeva su tutto il territorio al posto delle magre coltivazioni odierne. Prevaleva quindi la pastorizia assai proficua, giacché l’erba dei pascoli sempre verdi e le ghiande che cadevano dalle querce nutrivano bene il bestiame e questo dava latte e carni buonissime. Perciò la quercia rappresentava per gli Albanesi la loro ricchezza secolare. Ai lati: a sinistra la lettera A e a destra la L, cioè le iniziali di Albano di Lucania.
