Description
Català: Escut d'Algorfa (el Baix Segura, País Valencià): «Escut partit. Primer en camper d'argent, una creu de Sant Jaume de gules (roig), record del primer partiment de terres fet durant la reconquesta d'aquells llocs. Segon, en camper d'atzur, un castell d'argent, que són les armories dels Mosquera, primers senyors i, després, primers marquesos del lloc. Al cap, [un cairó] d'or, [amb] quatre barres [en realitat, pals] d'Aragó, de gules. Va l'escut timbrat de corona de marqués.» (Aprovat per Decret de 3 d'octubre de 1957, en la forma exposada per la Reial Acadèmia de la Història).
Español: Escudo de Algorfa (Alicante, España): «Escudo partido; primer, en campo de plata, una Cruz de Santiago, de gules (rojo), recuerdo de primer partimiento de tierras efectuado durante la reconquista de aquello lugares. Segundo, en campo de azul, un castillo de plata, que son las armas de los Mosquera, primeros Señores y, después, primeros Marqueses del lugar. Jefe, de oro, cuatro barras de Aragón, de gules (rojo).
