Arddwrn
Yn anatomeg dynol, diffinnir yr arddwrn fel 1) y carpws neu'r esgyrn carpalaidd, h.y. y cymhlyg o wyth asgwrn sy'n ffurfio'r segment ysgerbydol agosaf yn y llaw;[1][2] (2) cymal yr arddwrn neu'r cymal radio-carpol, y cymal rhwng y radiws a'r carpws;[2] a'r (3) ardal anatomegol sy'n amgylchynnu'r carpws gan gynnwys y pen pellaf o esgyrn yr elin a'r pen agosaf o'r metacarpws neu'r pump asgwrn metacarpaidd a'r cyfres o gymalau rhwng yr esgyrn hyn, a gyfeirir atynt fel cymalau'r arddwrn.[3][4] Mae'r ardal hon hefyd yn cynnwys twnnel y carpws, y pannwl radiol (foveola radialis), tynnyn traws y carpws (retincalum flexorum) a thynnyn cefnol y carpws (retinaculum extensorum).

The carpus articulates proximally with the forearm at the wrist joint and distally with the five metacarpals. The joints formed by the carpus include the wrist (radiocarpal joint), intercarpal, carpometacarpal and intermetacarpal joints. Augmenting movement at the wrist joint, the rows of carpals glide on each other [...] "
